I have been walkabout.

I have posted nothing on my blog since October and made a promise to myself to add to it more in the coming year. Work took over! I have been making lots of cards from orders and am endeavouring
to make a lot of different ones to sell at the local market. I'll give it a try anyway. I entered these three cards in two of the current  GK Design Challenges.

I made this wedding card and have entered it in the IBS Customer Challenge for October.

IBS Colour Challenge

Today I had orders for 2 birthday cards so I made them with the colour challenge currently on Inspired By Stamping. As they were male cards I opted for Colours #1 and #4

I am on a roll with some of the IBS challenges and have attached a Birthday card for the 4th Challenge to celebrate IBS's 2nd birthday.

I have made this card for my sister and have entered it in the IBS Chalkboard challenge

GK Double embossing challenge

I have entered this card in the GK Double Embossing challenge because I love using both methods on my cards. It was made for one of the girls at work who wanted a gift card for a friend.

About Me

I love card making. I started about 12 months ago as an extension to scrapbooking which I have been doing for about 4 years. I went to a card making class at a local craft store and began creating personalised cards. I work full time and have found You Tube offers so much to enable me to learn so many new techniques. I started showing my cards to staff at work and find that I have regular orders coming in so find myself pretty busy. I now have a craft room where I am able to create.
I have been  married to an awesome guy  for 33 years and we have 3 sons who have given us 4 gorgeous grandchildren. My first grandchild was a girl and this opened up a new world for me. She is now 5 and when she comes to stay she wants to 'go to Nan's craft room' where she can also create. I wonder will the others be as creative!. I am not really techno savvy and hopefully my blog ( which seems to be the way to go) is ok for a beginner.
